Meteorologist Christa Quinn can be seen giving the most up to date weather reports on The CW Philly WakeUp News airing weekdays, 5 to 9 a.m. on WPSG-TV (Channel 57.) She joined WakeUp News in October of 2005. Quinn came to Philadelphia from WTVG-13, the ABC station in Toledo, Ohio where she was a weather anchor since 1999. Previously, she was the weekend evening weather anchor/reporter for WNWO-TV the NBC station in Toledo, Ohio. Quinn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from the University of New Mexico. She was a Saturday morning weather anchor for KOB-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico before graduating in 1994. After working in New Mexico, Quinn was a morning weathercaster for WBPN-TV in Traverse City, Michigan, where she still vacations every summer. Quinn holds a certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association. Quinn was awarded the AMS Seal of Approval in Meteorology in 2007. When she is not tracking the paths of current weather conditions, Quinn enjoys cooking, shopping and working out (lifting, spinning, kickboxing and running). A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, she currently resides in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania with her husband.
