When the CW Philly launched Top Model - The Philly Search, we knew that there would be a lot of interest and hoped for a great deal of submissions. What we didn't expect was the overwhelming response from viewers that made The Philly Search such a success.

Over 400 portfolios and 3,000 pictures were submitted in a little over a month's time. Add to that the over 8,000 users viewing the model's portfolios and commenting on the photos and we knew we had a hit on their hands.

The competition was intense, with women from all over the Philadelphia area submitting photos in their hope to be the grand prize winner.

In the end however, there could only be one winner and she is Jamie Wall, a pharmacology student originally from Nanticoke, PA, living in Philadelphia while attending college. A stunning and smart beauty, Jamie was voted the Top Model by the viewers of the CW Philly and the rest is history. Jamie won a trip for two to Beverly Hills for 3 nights and a walk-on role in the CW Philly's Summer Fun Special.

Q&A with Jamie Wall

CW Philly: How did you hear about Top Model - The Philly Search?
Jamie Wall: My best friend and fellow model, Megan Colley


CW: Where are you from originally?
JW: Nanticoke, Pennsylvania


CW: What are your interests, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc.?
JW: My friends, traveling, meeting new people, working out, summer, the beach, sushi, shopping, and just always keeping busy.

Dislikes: pessimistic, narrow minded people.


CW: Would you like to have a career in modeling?
JW: As much as I enjoy modeling, school is my number one priority. Unfortunately my major is extremely demanding so I can't pursue a full time career in modeling.


CW: There was a lot of competition in this contest. Do you have any favorites?
JW: There were so many gorgeous, talented girls in this contest and I am extremely blessed to have won. My personal favorite was Megan Colley though, she is incredible!


CW: What are some of your favorite shows on The CW Philly?
JW: America's Next Top Model, One Tree Hill, and Gossip Girl


CW: What does the future hold for you?
JW: Graduating with my doctorate in Pharmacy in three years, and basically just enjoying everything life has to offer.
