A Chicago native, Reggie Hayes studied acting in high school and college. He attended Northwestern Military Naval Academy and Illinois State University, from which he graduated with a B.S. in Acting and Honors in Performance.

His television experience includes a series regular role on "Getting Personal," as well as guest starring roles on "Will & Grace," "Party of Five," "Roswell," "Married With Children," "Then Came You," "Grown Ups," "Something So Right," "Pretender" and "Space Above and Beyond."

Hayes' feature film credits include Spike Jonze's "Being John Malkovich," starring John Malkovich, John Cusack and Cameron Diaz; "A Family Thing" and "Hell Cab."

On stage, Hayes has appeared in Chicago productions of "Chicago Conspiracy Trial," "Hellcab Does Christmas," "Bang the Drum Slowly," "Othello," "Five Tiems Noh," "Any Place But Here," "Less Than Equal," "Native Speech," "No One Goes Mad," "Inspecting Carol" and "Richard II"; as well as numerous Shakespeare productions as a member of The Illinois Shakespeare Festival.

Hayes' interests include working out, shopping ("I'm a shopaholic!") and classic cars. He owns a 1963 Cadillac DeVille convertible. He is also a member of the Bang Bang Improv Troupe.
