Imani Hakim stars as Tonya, Chris' younger sister, the coddled baby of the family, in The CW's critically acclaimed comedy "Everybody Hates Chris," a series inspired by the childhood experiences of comedian Chris Rock.

After showing a natural interest in acting at age 7, Hakim began studying acting at Cleveland's historic Karamu House Theater. At Karamu House, Hakim appeared in stage productions of "Who Stole the Baby Jesus," "Cinderella" and "The Hobbit."

She has also studied at Alexander's Workshop in Lakewood, California, and The Young Actor's Space in Burbank, California.

Aside from acting, Hakim enjoys music, African dance, reading, writing and martial arts.

She currently lives in Los Angeles with her father and two brothers.
